We are 1-year old now. It happened a few days ago, but TMF is 1! I didn’t do much with the place until around October. I decided to get off my ass and make this a place for people to come and feel free to make this home. It’s a bit of an experiment, a tribute to my father, and really it’s a lifestyle that I support. When I say life style, I mean being free. I don’t mean it in the other ways some think of it as.
In 2015, we end this with almost 1200 members. Not accounts I created, but real people that said yes to supporting the community and joining. We are a small forum compared to others. I honestly have no idea when we will plateau or if we have already. I want to keep pushing and adding more people, more content, and make a difference. I will not be satisfied until the truth of marijuana is spread and the misinformation is stamped out.
I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas or whatever you would like to call it. I am an Atheist so for me this holiday means being with my family and being thankful for another year on Earth. This is the one time of year that I can stop all of the running around and sit back and look at what has happened over the past 364 days. In my case, it was a fuck ton of work.
I want to also wish everyone a happy New Year too! Let’s put 2015 behind us and look ahead to what 2016 could be. I want TMF to be a common reference. I want to add moderators here because the community has gotten so big. I want to make this the one cannabis forum that people have to be a part of. Those are bold statements, but I enjoy a good challenge. I love the freedom of building a community from nothing and watch it twist and turn into the end result.
Lastly, I just wanted to rant a bit and say thank you from the bottom of my heart. The 4th quarter has shown me that this is possible. People have thanked me for inviting them here. Many of you if not all have joined because I asked you to on Twitter. I thank every single one of you. Please enjoy this holiday time with your loved ones and come back when you have a minute to spare to say hello.
